Peprally ("Peprally," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Peprally, you agree to the practices described below.

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the app, and limited information from third parties.

• Account information. Email address, username, and any profile details you choose to add.
• Content you create. Posts, comments, replies, protocols, reactions, and other contributions to community discussions.
• Usage data. Pages and screens viewed, features used, search queries, and interactions with content.
• Device and technical data. Device type, OS version, app version, IP address, crash logs, and approximate location derived from IP.

• To operate, maintain, and improve the app.
• To moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and changes to our policies.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information only as needed to run Peprally:

• Service providers that host our infrastructure, send transactional email, process analytics, and provide customer support — bound by contractual confidentiality.
• Other users, where you post content publicly within the community.
• Legal and safety, when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
• Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain records for longer when required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can request any of these by emailing hello@peprally.xyz. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

6. Cookies and Tracking

The Peprally app uses limited on-device identifiers to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure feature performance. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

7. Children's Privacy

Peprally is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure — if you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. International Users

Peprally is operated from the United States. If you access the app from another country, you understand that your information is processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated "Last updated" date and, where required, provide additional notice.
